Longhua-based enterprise Hello Tech was invited to participate in the “Shenzhen Day: Innovation-Driven Sustainable Development of Megacities” side event of The 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which is being held in Baku, Azerbaijan until Nov. 22.
The side event is organized by Shenzhen Foundation for International Exchange and Cooperation (SFIEC), UNDP SDG Innovation Lab, and supported by Longhua International Cooperation Center and Biosphere 3.
As a Shenzhen-based enterprise that has made notable strides in the application of new energy, Hello Tech shared its experience in supporting the transition from traditional energy sources to renewable energy and fostering the harmonious integration of ecological systems in the context of sustainable development.
Representatives from Longhua District Government, SFIEC and other tech enterprises specialized in application and storage of renewable energy, such as DeepRock Group, Huawei, UGreen Group, and HiTHIUM.
Solar panel products produced by Hello Tech have saved approximately 760 million kWh of electricity and reduced carbon emissions by as much as 758,000 tons as of the first half of the year, according to Wang Xuejia, global branding and PR head of Hello Tech.
Additionally, Hello Tech has been collaborating with non-governmental organizations both domestically and internationally to fully leverage its technology in support of environmental protection and sustainable development. The company provided free portable electric power devices to patrollers in Qinghai’s Kekexili Nature Reserve. It also helped local households transition from using traditional energy to renewable energy, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
